Day 15: Let Yourself Cry or Laugh—Whichever Wants to Come

Today’s challenge is simple, but real:
Let the emotion out.
If you need to cry, cry.
If you need to laugh, laugh.
Don’t hold it in. Don’t swallow it. Don’t judge it.

Because emotions aren’t a weakness.
They’re signals. And they deserve space.

We’ve spent so much of our lives being told to “pull it together.”
To keep smiling. Stay strong. Be quiet. Get over it.
But what if letting it out is exactly what your body needs?

Tears don’t make you fragile.
They make you free.
Laughter isn’t silly.
It’s sacred.

You don’t have to explain why you’re feeling what you’re feeling.
You just have to feel it.

Cry in the shower.
Laugh at a silly movie.
Let it rise and move through you.
That’s how we heal.

Try this:

  • Sit with yourself for a few minutes.

  • Ask: What do I need right now—release or relief?

  • If it’s tears, let them fall.

  • If it’s joy, let it flow.

You are allowed to feel everything.
Even when it’s messy.
Especially when it’s messy.

Your Turn:

Whether you cry, laugh, or both—give yourself that moment.
Let your emotions move like water: not stuck, not hidden, just flowing.

Because bottling it up doesn’t make it go away.
But letting it out? That makes room for peace.
