Day 17: Delete That One Thing You Keep Saying You’ll Get To

You know the one.
That thing sitting in the back of your mind.
On your to-do list.
In your inbox.
In the corner of your house.

You’ve told yourself:
“I’ll get to it.”
“When I have time.”
“When I feel like it.”

But it’s not getting done… and it’s draining your energy just by existing.

Today’s challenge is simple:
Delete it. Toss it. Cross it off. Let it go.

Not because you failed.
Not because you’re lazy.
But because not everything deserves a permanent place in your mental space.

Why this matters:

Every “maybe later” you carry becomes background noise.
It nags at you.
It creates guilt.
It takes up space you could be using for something that actually matters.

You don’t have to finish everything.
Some things just need to be released.

Try this:

  • Open your phone, planner, or workspace.

  • Find that one task, email, project, or pile you’ve been avoiding.

  • Ask yourself: Do I really want to do this—or am I keeping it out of guilt?

  • If it’s not essential or energizing… delete it.

  • If it matters, schedule it. If it doesn’t, release it.

You’ll feel lighter. Freer. More in control.

Your Turn:

What’s one thing you can finally take off your list—for good?

“I let it go.”
Because sometimes peace isn’t about doing more.
It’s about doing less on purpose.
