Day 11: Dance to a Song That Makes You Feel Alive

Today’s challenge is simple:
Put on a song you love—and dance.

No choreography. No rules. No one watching (unless you want them to).
Just you, your body, and the beat.

Because sometimes, movement is medicine.
Sometimes, joy shows up when we invite it.
And sometimes, we don’t need to “fix” our mood—we just need to feel something real.

There’s something powerful about music.
It takes us back. It lifts us up. It reminds us of who we are when the world gets too loud.
Dancing connects you to your body in a way that says:
“I’m still here. I’m still me.”

You don’t have to dance well. You just have to move.
For 2 minutes. 5 minutes. As long as it takes to shake off some of the heaviness.

This isn’t about exercise.
It’s about aliveness.

Try this:

🎶 Choose a song that makes your shoulders loosen and your hips remember how to sway.
🎶 Close the door if you want to.
🎶 Let your body lead. Don’t think—just move.
🎶 Smile. Laugh. Tear up. Whatever comes up is welcome.

Your Turn:

What song did you choose? How did it feel?
Tag @FabAtFiftyPlus or use #FabMentalHealthMay and show me those dancing feet.
We’re not here to shrink ourselves.
We’re here to come back to life.
