Day 22: Write Down 5 Things Your Body Can Do
Today, we’re flipping the script.
Not about what your body looks like.
Not about what it used to do.
But about what it still can do—right now, today.
Your challenge:
Write down five things your body can do.
We’ve spent too much time criticizing ourselves.
Too much time pinching, hiding, comparing, and wishing we looked different.
But the truth is, your body has carried you through everything.
Through grief, through joy, through love, through loss.
And she’s still here. Still showing up.
This is not about ignoring the aches or pretending aging isn’t real.
This is about respecting the fact that you’ve survived every single day in this skin.
So today, we give her credit.
Try this:
Sit with your journal and write:
“My body can…”
And finish the sentence five times.
Maybe she:
Walked you through the park today
Held your grandbaby, your pet, your favorite mug
Stretched in the morning
Got you out of bed even when you felt low
Danced last night when no one was watching
Fought through an illness
Carried you through decades of living
It all counts.
Why this matters:
When we shift our focus from judgment to gratitude, we stop treating our bodies like a problem.
We start treating them like the partner they’ve always been.
You don’t have to love every part of her.
But you can honor her for still carrying you.
Your Turn:
Write your five. Say them out loud if you want to.
And when you pass a mirror today, give her a little nod.
She deserves it.

What’s one thing your body can still do that you’re proud of?
Because we’re not just aging—we’re still living.
And that’s something to celebrate.
