Day 3: What Went Right This Week? Let’s Talk About It.

Let’s be honest—some weeks feel like they ran us over, backed up, and ran us over again. The dishes piled up. The mood dipped. The to-do list laughed at us. We forgot the password. We burned the toast. And somewhere in there, we started believing we’re not doing enough.

But hold on a minute.

That’s not the whole story.

Because no matter how rough the week felt, I promise you: something went right.

Maybe you:

  • Finally folded that basket of laundry.

  • Sent that hard text you’ve been avoiding.

  • Didn’t lose your cool (or only lost it once—that counts too).

  • Had a good hair day.

  • Took a walk, even though you didn’t feel like it.

That counts.
All of it counts.

Today’s challenge is to pause and write down 3 things that went right this week.
Big or small. Obvious or quiet. Silly or serious. If it brought even a flicker of light into your week, write it down.

Here’s why this matters:
Our brains are wired to remember the bad. It’s a survival thing. But when we train ourselves to notice the good, even just for a few minutes, it changes how we move through life. We feel less defeated. Less overwhelmed. More hopeful.

And I know you’ve had enough weeks that left you feeling defeated.
Let’s not hand this one over without honoring what you did right.

Here’s what went right for me this week:

  1. I made time to journal—even though my brain told me I didn’t have time.

  2. I took a nap without guilt. That’s growth.

  3. I reminded myself I’m allowed to start again, as many times as I need to.
